Lowrance hds 9 gen 3. Only have gps/fish finder with water temp and depth now. Thinking about adding the Yamaha interface cable to get engine values also. Very happy with this unit

What do you currently have? They have some upgrade programs for Lowrance.

How much are you looking to spend? A budget would help.

I know a lot around here (me included) run the Elite TI models. Great and affordable.

I have a simrad go7 xse totalscan and it is Sierra sky's tits.

Most of the big boats I see are running the simrad NSS12 which is an awesome system. What are you looking to do and what's your budget?

Call front 2 back boats in north BR. This is their thing and theyll point you towards the best bang for your buck for what you're looking to di

I have the Lowrance Elite 7TI and really like BUT consider this before buying (if you decide to buy it)....the transducer is about 4 feet long (yeah I'm exaggerating but it's long) and mounting could be troublesome.....

That because you have the total scan transducer. That's 3 transducers in 1. You dont have to get that transducer if you dont need/want it. I'm running a 9 ti2 and a 7 hds gen 3 they run off if the basic "small" transducer. I don't have side scan or down scan but I dont need it

total scan transducer

Yeah I should have mentioned that but didn't think about it.

I'm pretty sure it will take an act of God to remove it now.....or some C4

If you want sound advice, there’s some information that would definitely help steer you in the right direction.

Do you have a brand that you prefer? What boat? Where do you fish? What are you fishing for? At what depths?

We are located in south Baton Rouge off of Highland Road near Blue Bayou if you’re in this area and would like to stop by and speak with someone about factory certified installations for Simrad, Lowrance, Garmin and Airmar transducers.

For offshore you definitely want to stick with Simrad or Garmin
