Looking to get into fishing

I'm from up north and though I've been fishing with the old man growing up, he never really showed me anything. Been offshore fishing here, but again, everything was done for me.
So I'm looking for some good YouTube channels or websites that can teach me how to rig lines for different kind of fish, catfish, sac-a-lait, bass etc. Literally South Louisiana fishing 101.
I know nothing. I have spinning rod and some tackle and stuff, but I know nothing about how to use them. I really want to be able to teach my son how to fish.

Here are two of my favorite youtube channels for learning about what to look for and techniques and whatnot. Enjoy.

For bass fishing tips, check out tacticalbassin on youtube. While they fish in waters that are much different than those in Louisiana, the techniques are the same.

Marsh Man Masson - look up the pool videos where he demos different lures in a swimming pool so you can see the lure’s action/sound underwater

The suggestions on here are all good.
You should also charter with an in-shore captain a few times. Most are willing to teach and give pointers.

I do a lot of rod and reel catfishing and almost always rig my lines the same way, just the type bait changes depending on what they want at the time.
If fishing in a moving body of water like the Mississippi River, I'll take the bare line and tie at least a 2-3 oz. sinker to it and then come up the line about 2 ft. and pinch the line and make a loop about 1 ft. long and tie that off and put my hook on. When done I will have my sinker on the river bottom and the bait suspended about 1 ft. above that off the bottom.
If catfishing in a bayou with slow or no water movement I'll use a much lighter sinker with the same rigging for hook or fish under a cork with just a few split shot sinkers to keep the bait down.
Salt water for specks and reds is almost always under a cork with either live shrimp or minnows. Sometimes I'll use lures, spoons etc. without a cork and cast and retrieve to lure the fish to bite like you see Bubba doing on those Bass Fishing shows on TV.
