Any OB’ers have recommendations for charters in the Seacrest or Panama City area? We will be there at the end of September and want to book a trip. Open to any type of fishing... but would like to target some snook. Any suggestions is appreciated. TIA

Hate to crush your dreams but snook are way further south than the panhandle

Didn’t realize this, but my dreams have not been crushed. Thanks for the info.

Came off kinda like a dck. I wish snook were available closer as well. I would try to find a bottom fishing charter for snapper and grouper. There should be plenty of mackerel and jacks in the area that you could probably reach by kayak.

As pointed out already, I think Snook are a little further South. I know there is an outfit that launches straight from the beach somewhere around 30A. Looks cool. We always run out of Destin though.

I went with O Sea D out of Destin yesterday and we tore em up. Not sure if you want to drive that far to take a charter but they were very good.

Buddy of mine. They always catch fish. He will do inshore or offshore. If you want to stick to the 30A area, shallow water expeditions specializes in fly fishing but they find the fish

Yeah, but I suck at posting pics on here

Caught a 19 pound red snapper. Weather was shite and seas were rough but the captain stuck it out with us. Ended up with limit of red snapper, 5 black snapper and several king macks.

A dolphin was following us around fricking with us too so with that and the weather, we did about as well as we could hope for.

Any idea what the ideal time of year is good for Snook? I'll be in the Orlando area in early 2019 and I might look into doing it then.

Spring and summer are the best times to catch snook in Southwest Florida

I've been knowing one of your buddies since I was knee high to a bull frog. He said if you a real coonass you should know what Pas Tou Las is. He also said you owe him some Costas.
