question:

why would one choose 20CV over S30V? Seems like S30V is the better overall steel since it's tougher, but 20CV costs more on Benchmade's builder. Why is that?

Mainly is that I don't have a blade in 20CV yet and I have at least five in S30V. It's a slight upgrade to S30V in terms of wear resistance, though some say the edge isn't as stable. This knife wouldn't be one I'd carry or use very much, just something for the collection.
