Looking for a Lexus GX 460

Are the 460's holding up as well as the first generation 470's? I would like to buy one before the body on frame SUV's vanish.
I'm watching all the usual classifieds and doing my best to keep up dealership inventory. I missed a good 2011 base today. I was an hour too late

For off-road use or soccer mom use?
I prefer the 470 door offroad.
Run that engine on mobil1 0w40 and around 200k miles the iron and aluminum stop appearing in oil analyses. They literally stop wearing.
One of the finest engines ever produced.

Grocery getter and skiff hauling duty. The occasional dirt road. Just want something comfortable and reliable. The GX looks like a better SUV for the money even if it is a few years older and has twice as many miles as a WK2 Grand Cherokee or 4 Runner.

I drive a 2015 premium and love it. Only complaint is the gas mileage

Any concern about the air bag suspension?I only get about 17 mpg around town now so if I can get 15 in city traffic out of the Lexus I would be pretty stoked. Milage while towing the skiff is a concern but as long as it's in the high teens I think the juice will be worth the squeeze.
If anyone is looking there is a 09' 470 with 63k miles at Mossy Motors for under $23k asking price. I would have bought it but I'm waiting for a second gen.

My 460 is about to hit 95k. I love it. It does a little bit of everything. Hauls bay boat and family everywhere.

Loved my wife’s 460, until a tree landed on it.
Comfortable, all the features you’d need. Sucks gas...premium gas.

Honestly, I'd like to pay sales taxes on no more than $25k but it really depends on the truck. I'm willing to go into the 30's for a 460 if it's the right one. Not very interested in a 470 unless it's perfect. I walked on a 2012 base with comfort plus and 75k miles. It was priced at $25.5. The dealership kept asking me schedule appointments but when I got there they couldn't find the car. The 3rd time I agreed to buy the truck but when I got there with my check book someone had taken it somewhere. Idgaf if it's free, I wouldn't go back there.
If you're serious, email me the details. I'm not a tire kicker, I'm a cash buyer. I won't waste your time, if it's out of my price range I'll tell you straight away. If it's close, we can talk.
