looking for a camp truck

I know, me and everyone else.
my place is on an island though so I don’t need street legal or even a title, it just has to run and have 4WD.
where it’s going the salt eats trucks in a couple of years so condition is less important. ideally the doors work, the engine runs, the drivetrain functions and it has a windshield. It will only get a hundred miles a year or so on it
Pretty slim pickings on craigslist. If anyone has a lead in south LA I’d appreciate it

Budget? A Roxor won't be cheap, neither will a running condition Tacoma. Maybe look into a Suzuki Samurai (it's what I hunt out of) or one of those Japanese mini trucks.

nah I need a full size truck, a 1500 is ideal.

When I was looking last year, I found more on dallas craigslist than in south Louisiana m. I found a number in the $2500 range

Maybe contact a used car dealer or find one that’ll let you tag along at an auction. My buddy does this for couple of our friends.

Does the state still auction off used wildlife and fisheries trucks every month? Might be a good place to start.

The 00-06 Chevy 5.3 can't be beat and is in your price range.
Or a 2007 and up tundra. Either motor. Damn fine machines. Neighbor got and extended cab with 155k 4wd for 8 I think.
