Looking for a 24 or 30 gun safe

Looking for a 24 or 30 gun safe. Nothing too crazy. Looking to stay on the lower end price wise. Probably put my budget ceiling around $600.
For now I'll probably just keep about 10 rifles and a few pistols in it. Any particular spot, online or brick and mortar, I should be looking for best value?

Little smaller than what you are looking for but Academy had an 18 gun fireproof safe for around $280 last week. Tractor Suppy seems like they always have a sale.

10 rifles in a 24 gun safe will be pretty tight, especially if they all have scopes.

Academy and tractor supply will probably be your best bets. Both have a pretty good <$1000 selection.

6 shot guns and 6 scoped rifles will fill up a 24 gun safe.
Go as big as you can move in the house, 64 gun goes on sale at academy all the time. Then you can stack ammo in it also.

It sounds like you have your mind made up on a 24-30 gun safe and I know gun safes are expensive. Several years ago I bought a Liberty Timber Ridge 64 gun safe and like these other guys have pointed out you CANNOT fit 64 guns in it. I prolly have about 25 in it and it's packed... I paid $1700 from the old Gander Mountain in Beaumont. That was the best safe I could find for the money. I didn't want to spend that much but I am so happy I did. If you think about it, a quality rifle with a quality scope will cost you that, or more.
We also keep ALOT of other stuff in there like insurance papers, ammo, jewelry, cash, or anything else you'd normally worry about people stealing.
I'm partial to manual combinations only because I've seen a failed electronic lock have to be drilled out but statistically you're prolly OK with an electronic. Like some of these guys have said Academy and Tractor Supply have sales all the time. Sorry for the long-winding reply....Good luck!!!

Whatever size you think you need, go bigger. Talking from experience.

18 gun fireproof safe
THere are no fireproof safes, there are fire rated to maintain a specified internal temperature for a specified time. Many of what are called "gun safes" are only rated as "residential storage containers" with limited protection against fire, and thief regardless of how massive and heavy duty they may look.
Know what you are buyig before spending your money.
