Are you referring to BCKFC tournaments? If so, all board members are volunteers and therefore eligible to participate in all club events and functions just as a normal paying member.

shite, Choupique and Gnatless have an advantage over everyone even if they aren't on the Board. The rest of us just donate our money to those guys.

But as it's been said before, our tournaments are spread from Houma, Grand Isle, New Orleans East, and Hwy 23 towards Venice.

Ehh... we haven't had a tournament there in about 2-3 years. We tried one in Chicot three years ago that had poor turnout. Most of the guys that fish our tournaments are from the SE area, so they don't like going West.

the Lafayette guys travel better than ours to tell you the truth. Would be nice to have a trout or flounder tournament this time of year that way. Might have to suggest that for 2019.

yeah, I was in both BCKFC and LKFC when i lived in Alexandria, and fished in tourneys for both. Once i got divorced i no longer needed to escape my wife, so I didn't compete anymore. Good times though.

They didn't lock down the LA1 Slamboree this year. And while gnatless is a hell of a fisherman, he has been struggling some this year in tournaments, but he will get his groove back.

Who's Kalon Johnson? I see his name on all of the leader boards in both clubs.

Kalon is a good fisherman. I don't think he's won any of the tournaments this year at least he hasn't in any bckfc tournaments. He is currently in first place for the tournament hosted by PAC rentals.

Kalon is an excellent fisherman and seems to really excel with redfish. The dude is damn good at this.
