Before sunrise? Tia.

Yea. Best thing to do is take a bucket in the truck and go get them and a launch ticket before you even head to the marina to go fish. Speeds everything up. I'm always up before everyone and go do this.

if you're driving down Sunday morning, Goo's in Golden Meadow opens at 5.

Bring a cast net and stop at the bridge over Bayou Laurier.

Get if before you get on island. They were standing outside bridgeside at 4:30. Looked like a bunch of nerds waiting on new video game.

I just go to puglias or academy and restock up on plastics and baits.

Terry's in Leeville is open early and I think that small bait shop before you get to Elmers on the left is open early. I've bought ice there at 6

I got live shrimp at T-Tim's (Bada Bing) in Leeville at 4:45 this morning. Was the only person there and as I was leaving another boat showed up.

Is that right before getting onto the elevated portion to the island?

We did pretty good on plastics surf fishing today. Big trout.

Got to Sand Dollah at 6:40, line was 45 minutes for bait

Yeah it looked like old reliable double rig was doing most of the damage today. Live shrimp guys were putting on a Spanish mackerel and ladyfish catching clinic
ETA, did hear there was no wait at carmadelles before bridge but shrimp were small, they had croakers too.

Man I love to catch those Spanish. Over in Florida they target them. They not terrible eating, but don't freeze well.
