On your phone

In imgur, pull up the photo and press on the photo itself until this comes up:

Click on copy link (circled in the photo).

In the post paste the link, highlight the link, and then click the “img” button.

Great! I missed the highlight link part. Would you think there would be an easier way? Geez. I’m not a young techno wizard

Where'd you find the lion's mane. I find oyster's all the time, but I've only come across lion's mane once. Found a nice sized one in Baton Rouge last year.

Happen to see it driving near pride. Turned around and found place to park and got it. Oyster mushrooms are still better to me. This was the first mane I’ve found and eaten.

I have woods near my house and would love to harvest some good mushrooms. What do you look for? Is it around a certain tree, wet or dry area or facing the sun? BTW, those mushrooms look amazing!

The oyster mushrooms were better but I’ve always wanted to try the lions mane. I just happened to see it on an old oak log 12 inches off the ground and knew instantly what it was, it was also huge and weighed about a lb.
The oyster mushrooms grow in cool, foggy conditions like we have been having lately in south la.
Not sure where you live but last time I went down tickfaw there were so many on the river I filled up 1/2 my live well with them.
If you don’t have a boat, seek out any good stand of willow tree banks especially.
They cannot be mistaken for anything once you know what they look like. I will try to post a pic of them fresh...

I started gathering and eating Oysters just before Christmas. Watching for Lions Mane and Chanterelles, just a matter of time.

Just finished some seared deer loin with baby carrots, onions any oyster shrooms. Those things are fantastic. Got a lion mane in fridge and found another yesterday, gotta bring climbing sticks.

Oyster mushrooms are super ! I’ve got some left I’m going to try to spore and transfer to log in my back yard. It has one single wild oyster growing now so it must be good to grow (go)

Can you please post a picture of what these look like in the woods? Pictures on google are all over the place. I love mushrooms, but have no idea what any of this is.
