Redfish are stacked up in the marsh just west of coco marina. You only need to burn a gallon of gas!

Buddy of mine fished Boudreaux, Gero and Quitman this morning and only had 4 trout as of 10 minutes ago and the tide was about to go slack on him.

Me and my buddy will be heading down tomorrow night as well. Probably gonna try the Merchant/Sister Lake area, but not sure yet. Weather looks nice for Saturday.

I'm going out to Pelto if the weather allows. I've caught some monsters this time of year in the past.

Caught them in Sister and Mechant weekend of auburn game. Uncle did so so last Friday but tide was only .2'. Water was muddy around Pelican pass, ton of shrimp in the water.

Glow tsunamis and DOAs under corks mostly. Caught a few tighlining purp/chart. Be honest don't think it matters, just work the reefs over. May have gotten bigger under the birds but they were on the small side for us. Mud Lake and Bayou Savuer areas had the clear water pulling into the lakes.

Never had much success there. For that matter most of sister lake has been a bad spot for me.

Same here. In fact, this whole past summer pretty much was a bust. I blame BP and of course the weather.

I have caught some on the south shore(3 islands I think is the name) and in the cut to Caillou Bay.

Anyone remember the tank battery? It use to be one of my favorite spots.

South of Taylors Bayou, look for Pelican Island on map, its WNW of Enstar. Go bump fiberglass with Motorboat, he loves company while fishing.
