Do they make them? I'm a lefty and have always shot righty. I have never seen one with the receiver on the other side and was just wondering.

Yes they make them. They will be harder to find and generally more expensive

You can get an H&K set up how ever you'd like.

My dad has 6 Browning rifles in left-handed models.

Also, what kind of "gun" are we talking about? You can find a variety of shotguns (Browning comes to mind instantly) that have bottom feed and eject to allow for ambidextrous use

I shoot left handed so I have some experience on this. I'm left eye dominant but right handed, so learning to operate a left hand bolt took some time but its worth it to have a gun actually fit you!

Remington is probably the best for offering a multitude of lefties, but Browning and Winchester do as well. Weatherby offers a few and will custom build any caliber in lefty..

Stunna is lefthanded. Browning BPS shotguns are the tits for lefties with the top safety and bottom drop. Also, there are plenty of left handed rifles on the market. I highly recommend Browning firearms for lefties.

I'm a right-hander who has always shot left-handed.

I just use right handed guns and only had a problem with a Remington Rimfire 22 ejecting hot casing onto my arms.

Eye dominance should determine which hand you shoot.

LH bolts are few & far between. I've never seen a dedicated LH autoloader.

check you eye dominance if its a scoped rifle does it really matter but shotgunning is a diff story.

I don't aim, I "point". Have always been a pretty good wing shot too.

I have a left-handed browning a-bolt .300 Wsm. My only gripe is that they don't make a left handed short mag in synthetic and stainless. I got my stock and scope dipped in realtree hardwoods camo and I got my barrel dura-coated in a dull gray. It looks amazing and you can't even tell my gun used to be wood with a blued barrel.
