If you have a big enough trailer, you can pick up Tarsha from the COA and have her come graze in your yard

I agree with denhamtiger. Clegg’s helped me out when I had a problem with my lawn. Helpful hint if you go there. Take a couple of pictures and bring a sample of the dead grass.

Sounds like fairy ring fungus. Look it up. It is the result of a fungus.....sometimes it is from rotting roots underground from trees that were removed.

Zoysia and centipede is prone to fungus.

sounds like sod webworms to me...look at it in the morning when there is dew to see if you can see the webs. also, if you see a lot of little white moths, that is a sure sign.

Possible, pics look similar. What treatment handles that?

I think I have some webworms....looks just like brown patch but I see the webs in the morning. What should I use to knock this out?

Little early for webworms, but it is possible. Easily handled with Bifenthrin (Bifen IT, Talstar, etc). More than likely is fairy rings, brown patch, or another fungus. F Stop, thiophanate methyl, or chlorothalonil should handle it.

ETA: Thiophanate methyl can be found in an easy to apply granule, and I've had good results with it. I know Ewing Irrigation carries it, so Keeling may as well. The past two years I've used Chlorostar (chlorothalonil) from Regal Chemical.

What is the best way to tell the difference between fungus or webworms?
