Did he fly over Habitat Flats because we all know that's where the mallards stays.

Has anyone ever hunted Habitat Flats. Is it all show, or is it as good at it looks on YouTube?

If you send Larry an email, he will put you on his list to receive reports when released.

I just got my copy. Wish I knew how to post it. 3rd lowest count on record. Just over one million ducks. Count does not include NE or NW La. Those transects will be flown next week. Expects additional birds to arrive next week due to cold front. Stated that Missouri had about 25% more than long-term average.

So does that 3rd lowest number factor in the absence of the 2 regions?

Survey looks bad for us. Hopefully the front today and early next week will change that. I am thinking there will be more face paint and mud boats in Venice than ducks. Hope I’m wrong.

How did this compare to last year, I'm just not seeing many ducks in Hopedale.

You'll get downvoted to smithereens, but you're not wrong. If you are hunting a flooded, standing crop, it's no longer agriculture--it's a foodplot for ducks. That bullshite about normal agricultural practices is just that--bullshite. Is there anything that says you can't plant corn or rice strictly for ducks, and then leave it standing? No.

And if it's harvested by normal practices, flooding it is fair game.

It is what it is. I'm still gonna go hunt ducks like lots of other guys will. The flooded corn isn't the only issue, but someone that only pays attention to ducks wouldn't know that.

3rd lowest count on record or not, I have faith TunaTime will kill some ducks. Now, with what he has to go through to kill his ducks, he may kill himself as well.

I've never paid any attention to this BS.

If there's ducks, go shoot them.
