Looking for info on Lake St. John. Is there good bass fishing in this lake? Is it a popular lake that will be packed this time of year?

It’s a pretty lake with some bass but there are many better options within 30 minutes of St John

St. John has some decent fishing but you would probably do better hitting bruin or concordia.

Live on St. John and it’s been decent lately but hit hard every weekend with tournaments

Went a few weeks back and struggled to catch 5 keepers plus a couple sacalait in about 5 hours the morning of a small front. Beautiful lake, and not a bad way to spend a day when it's pretty out. If you're looking to fill an ice chest I'd look elsewhere until you hear the bite is on then head that way tho.

beautiful lake with thousands of cypress trees. it doesn’t have a lot of character….just trees and docks. its a 7 ft bathtub. and it gets pounded this time of year.

Tournaments every weekend, got hammered the last 5 years for perch/crappie/sac, tourists yo-yoing like meth addicts.
