Any tips or honey holes you are willing to give up?
Planning to be there a few days and will probably target sacalait, bass, and maybe some catfish at different points.

Damn, no love for Lake Bruin?

I have love Bruin, just suck at bass fishing it. I did wear the bream out this weekend though. Lake is really high right now. No wake on the whole thing

What the hell? Last time I checked Bruin was well North of I-10.

White spinnerbaits and trick worms around the trees. Stay around the island and you can fill a boat full of Kentucky’s. If the bite is tough a redfish magic is good as well as 100 series bandits. La shad is a good one for Bruin

Water high. Stripers on a rattle trap is always fun. Tough bite right now perch

Stripers over dock lights with a silver ratltrap or white crank, or shiner on a 1/0 circle hook. Been killing the perch on white beetlespins; bream on worms n crickets. Occasional catfish on the yoyo.

In May, top water fishing with a frog in grass is usually on fire.
