The general concensus of my google search says they are good to eat if prepared correctly.

Skin
Cook
Eat
Profit

I've heard good and bad about them. The only way to know for sure is to try it for yourself

The little one is going on the pit, the big one is getting his head chopped off and euro mounted, they got big teeth!

They do make cool mounts, but you couldn't pay me to eat one

Why not? I've had a baby on the rotisserie and it was great..

What's y'all's aversion to them?

They are rodents, wouldn't want to mess with cleaning one.

Hmm, never knew that.

Do they smell worse than a hog when you clean them?

Was thinking about making a trip one day to Texas just to shoot javelina. Worth the effort? Was thinking handgun hunting for them.

After surveying the situation some more we will not be eating these stinky fricks. Holy hell the smell is bad.

They are fun to kill and pretty stupid. I snuck up on this one dove hunting a month ago and killed him with bird shot

I'll eat one at some point, but it's going to have to be prepared for me. I won't be cleaning and fixing it for myself.

There are two things that coyotes don't eat, Javelina and a dead Mexican.

Well we successfully destroyed a 4x6 box stand we were trying to move. At least we'll have a big fire tonight.
