Spray your yard with karate. They wont last long. I've seen entire crawfish ponds wiped out when neighboring land owners sprayed it in their fields and it had run off.

i dont see how me doing karate in the yard is going to get the crawfish to leave

as i said, gasoline. put some in a pump sprayer and spray in each hole and move on. they are underground in separate individual tunnels so the only way to get to them is to treat each hole. yes it will take time but each time you do it you will reduce the numbers by half at least. with gas you may wipe out 90% in the first treatment. but i cant help you with any do the entire yard methods because nothing will seek out and climb into each hole short of spraying mustard gas across your yard

Look up Devil crawfish or red devil crawfish. These are probably what you’re seeing.
