Where are some of the best places to kayak in Louisiana? Preferably somewhere near a rental facility.

west of Oberlin, calcasieu River. I think it's Hyway 26. They havwe several rentl faclities for canoes

Not many places that rent kayaks, except for fishing. I think all the scenic areas are covered by canoe renters. Ouiska Chitto, Toro bayou, Kisatchie Bayou over in the west side of the state.
