I have a pair of rubber camo hunting boots that are going on their 3rd year of flextape across the instep where they were starting to crack. Clean the area good with some alcohol and go for it.

Used flex seal to patch a leaky shingle on my roof. Sprayed it on, fixed the leak. This was years ago. I need to re-apply, really.

I flex sealed inside and outside of some neopreme waders that have rubber boots. Still holding. Was leaking where they met

Solarez UV cure Flex resin in the green tube is magical stuff. I use it when tying flies and other marine stuff often...

yes pure waste of time...placed multiple coats on waders over period of few days...looked really good..1st time using it cracked..I would recommend not wasting your time.
