Actually, I live in Harahan. Figured they were out of Belle Chase.
you haven't noticed that a lot? They redid the runway in Belle Chase this summer and all of the fighters were at the Nola airport

I have not seen F-22s before today. They are not stationed at Belle Chase thus the guess at a flyover.

We have a camp in Navarre, FL and you can watch the Spectras at night, cool as shite.

Saw the F-22 in Sept at Tyndall AFB in PC.

At the UGA homecoming last year they had a flyover by a C-130. That joker seemed like it was the size of the stadium and didn't clear the upper deck by to much.

When we had our camp in Gheens the A-10's would fly over the marsh pretty often

They used to buzz us on our property in Winn Parish. We would sit on the pond and wave at the pilots. They would wag their wings and wave back. My grandparents even had an officer come to make sure it was ok that they buzzed their property. My grandmother said it was ok because she "liked to see those boys up there." We only see them about once a year now, but twenty years ago we would see them at least once a week.

This is a sight, pariticularly when driving down I-20 and one of those BUFs are on final approach.

They moved the A-10s to another AFB after England's closure, but there are still a lot of MOAs in CENLA.

Another badass one I saw was at the Army Navy game. Airforce one flew over and tipped its wing at the stadium.

I was scared for a minute, seeing a big 737 flying right toward the stadium.

I turkey hunt just west of Gardner and you can hear the artillery from Ft. Polk. I thought it was thunder at first until I realized there were no clouds in the sky. My Uncle, an artilleryman from WW2, had to tell me what it was.

This.

Americans should be forced to go to air shows at least once a year and to also watch a video of Russian military demonstrations. I think there'd be a lot less bitching about defense spending.
