Its getting scary down around Galveston (Dangerous Sharks)

When you have to send a news crew an hour south from Houston you know its a big time story.

If people knew how many 6ft plus sharks were in the gulf or atlantic's murky waist deep waters, they would never set foot in the water....

Caught this one last year in waste deep water in Long Boat Key.
Saw another that was much bigger.

I remember flying low level over the beaches at Jax and Va Beach.. the number of large dark shapes just outside the surf zone.. was mind boggling....

It shouldn't be a big deal..I know people that have a lot of money in set up for shark fishing off Galveston Beaches...why this one made the new is beyond me...
Maybe it was the Gay dude in the video and their way of covering the Supreme Court ruling ...

Saw two guys surf fishing at Rollover last year and a shark got ahold of one of their stringers with their specs and pulled them around!
Man they came out running.
Pretty funny. I won't use one of those baskets that float as a guy told me they can get their teeth caught in the mesh bottom and a bull shark pulled his buddy 150 yards out.

I do some occasional commercial diving in Chandeleur. 20 ft deep and 2 ft of viz. I know it's super sharky but I haven't seen one yet. Not sure if that's good or bad!

shite ive seen 2 3'+ plus sharks caught off mandeville harbor in the last few months.
