My first hunt this year in Louisiana and I wish I was back in Missouri.
I’m sitting in a new stand on a pipeline in my club and the neighbors are duck hunting about 50 yards off the property line. +/- 100 yards from me. Don’t plan on seeing crap this morning.

Duck hunting in slough near pipeline on property line. Not seeing much, just skyblasting at any kind of bird we see. Buddies are throwing beer cans into decoys and shooting them too. Think the neighbors are deer hunting on pipeline less than 100 yards away;)

Good hunt this morning.
Tried to get a shot at a hog at daylight but he slipped by before I could get on the trigger.
Had a 4pt in full velvet cross in front of me at 50 yards. Must be something wrong with him.
Then saw about 8-10 does
Then here comes a nice young 6pt
Then here comes another nice young 6pt
Got good pics of each at 30 yards
Then a yote came slipping and I popped her. She must have been in heat because another one came up right behind her and tried to sniff her twat. So I popped him too. Never killed two yotes on a single sit before.
