The big deer came back. Had him at 7 yards, drew back he bolted. He winded me. I only needed a split second more. Unbelievable.

Had a spike in the crosshairs yesterday evening and my boy got nervous. Then spike got nervous and left the field. A coyote walked out right after and I shot it.
No deer but a good learning experience for my boy.
