Short answer, yeah around there. Long answer:
I don’t currently have the rifle set up to shoot that far. Mainly because there’s one stand I hunt that can even stretch out that far and everything else is inside about 150.
I had the crosshairs on the doe but I don’t have my rangefinder with me and don’t know exactly how far she was, 300 was a guess based on the power line poles between me and her.
ETA: if it was a shooter buck, I would have shot. I’ll get another easier chance on a doe soon enough.

Better luck than me. I’m in a stand I typically see deer in.
I recently (a month back) put a water trough in nearby temporarily because the cows were in the pasture over. I think the deer have piled up along that section of woods going after my water trough and I’m on the other side of this 100 acre section. I may try that side tomorrow morning.

Funny enough we have a trough at the stand I hunted this evening, but it’s to put corn in because if it’s on the ground the hogs tear it up. They can’t reach into the trough
