Pipeline.

Probably the last hunt of the season for this baw due to work.

Put in the work throughout the year, still goose egged, along with a few other guys. Sunk four wheelers, sunk myself, fell out of a tree, sat all day(s), froze and sweated my arse off. Seen some deer, just none to shoot. Dammit I had fun though, and that’s what I’m here for. Sitting old #4 on the back pipeline this evening to wrap up the season.

Good ole Gloster. We have 100 acres of family land on Bluff Springs Road near Amite/Wilkinson line. Old GP land that is mostly in pine. Only good few years after its cut. Rest of the time, it's who can throw out the most corn. Fond memories of some big deer when I was a kid and it was all hardwoods and traditional hunting.

Uncle does. I got tired of paying that much for license.

Yes I understand. I’m glad. Bought a Louisiana life time license years ago. Moved to MS 6 years ago. It only cost me $50 a year for a license here now. I was asking about the property because I’ve been looking for some to lease. I used to hunt that area years ago

My dad and I leased a place at the fork of Bluff Springs years ago. We saw lots of deer but we had issues with trespassers even back then .
I still remember thinking coming through that curve sideways just passed the county line . My 18 year old self thought I was dale Earnhardt haha. It worked out out until I met a truck in the middle . Scared me good.

Our driveway is at the beginning of that curve. Few cars over the years have missed the curve due to bad weather or fog and ended up in the barbwire fence.
