Waited out a downpour at the camp then made a break for the closest box stand. Hoping to have a couple hours with no rain. Good luck out there

Hoping to see some movement before the rain hits.

Brought my wife on her first hunt of the season, might as hell had brought my 18 month old son. She argued with every thing I did this morning and then set the alarm off to the truck so all the deer in the woods know we are here. She will probably still kill something. I'm waiting now on her text asking "is it time to go?" Or "I don't see anything, I'm bored"

Good luck OB and stay safe and dry.

Rained hard until 3am. Looks like I have until 11 before the bad stuff hits. Have Bourgeois beef jerky, rain jacket and tablet with the OB book suggestions. Going to sit as long as I'm dry

Ground blind and bow in the corner of a field

Looking for anything brown before the rain. I've already seen a hog but it was too dark to see pins on the bow.

I'm in your boat. Unless you count the doe that crossed the road in front of us driving out yesterday.

Brown it's down. Should be at the peak of the rut, evidently the bucks here suffer from low testosterone and/or ED issues and are hiding in shame

I don't think we are at the peak of our rut. I do have some pictures of a buck with some dark hocks but only follow does at night. They are just taking their time this year

No deer yet but it has been an interesting morning so far. The hog earlier was well within range but it was too dark. I saw four good longbeards about 10 minutes ago, and hopefully two of those won't make it through the Spring. And a big fox squirrel just tried to climb in my window causing a big ruckus.
