I guess we were a day early because Friday morning it was 5-6 from 120miles in.

Yes, Leslie did several prints of the mako and also a few of one of the smaller YFT we had. Turned out great and I can't wait to see how they look all framed up.

I'm having a buddy of mine, Scott Johnson, do that with my 25lb snapper


he does excellent work as well and currently has a filefish I shot in early June that I should get back next week

Yes, it's traditional Japanese method called Gyotaku.

Yeah, we were about to walk across the street to the neighbors house when that storm rolled through. shite was popping. Oh, and here are 3 of our biggest from this weekend.

It's printed, gyotaku I believe is the Japanese term. Basically you'd clean the fish, then paint the skin, then imprint the fish on rice paper. Then fill in little details with a brush.

My explanation sucks so here's a short video.

Went to a high fence private lake Thursday that is known for mosnster bass. Caught 5, none bigger than 5lbs. Worked like a dog Friday- Saturday, rest and BBQ yesterday. Should have taken today off and went fishing, hardly anyone at work.
