I see you're making progress in that 12 step.

Lately it's been easier than ever (and a lot more entertaining).

Anyone? I finally got my concealed carry permit after 10 months and 13 days and a little misunderstanding about my background.

I dont post on there so that wasn't me. My situation was something false came up on background check and I had to prove it which took a while. They questioned me after the background check about previously being a patient at the Huey P Long for mental problems . I then had to prove it wasn't me and an error had occurred. It wasn't the CC permit folks fault, it was on Central's end. I had been a patient there when I was without insurance for a short time during college but for a broken bone. It was hell getting that straight dealing with a state hospital, but we cleared it up. I almost gave up but I was afraid the flag would haunt me down the road if I didn't fully address it now and get it cleared so I hung with it. The Sgt at the CC office was very understanding but just doing his job and required proof after he saw the flag so I did the deal and got it straightened out.
Basically I was told someone filed something wrong. I'm not sure if that means a wrong code on a claim of some sort or filed our records wrong somehow. Whatever it was, it was a PITA to clear it up.

No answer to my question? It seems you don't value comfort when carrying and I don't blame you, but it also seems you have some trick to carrying different than most. Mind sharing any tips like that to a newby?

I don't understand it either. To his credit, he said he'd have to show us his technique for us to grasp it.
