Illinois Deer Report?

Leaving tonight to head to Southern Illinois for a Bow hunt and wanted to see if anyone in the OB has heard/ has any report of deer movement that way. Are the deer in rut/prerut yet. Any info is appreciated. Good luck to anyone hunting now or headed out for the weekend. TIA

HAVE A FRIEND WHO OWNS LAND IN PIKE COUNTY. FOUND 9 DEAD DEER OVER THE LAST WEEK. THE BLUE TONGUE DISEASE IS BACK AGAIN.

Can’t tell you about Illinois but southern Iowa is on starting about 2-3 days ago. Cold front moving in the next few days, if it doesn’t rain, this weekend will be great.

Damn that sucks. I had to decline my gun hunt invite to Pike County this season due to other scheduling conflicts. Hate to hear this is back.

Headed to pyramid state park in a few min! My buddy been up there a couple days and says the rut should be lurking around the corner.

Not Illinois but a friend of mine killed a 160+ with his bow in Kansas Monday, said they were rutting.
