That's a little extreme for dillos
When you mistaken "lo" for "d" it changes the word entirely.

Get some cheese or bread or something and sprinkle some Temik on it... If you have pets, forget what I've said.

I have the same issue and would love to know a viable solution on how to flush them out or just kill them while they are down in the hole...anyone have a solid solution? Is there some bait I could use to lure in a dillo for possum/coon trap?

roll a couple baseball-sized chunks of carbide down hole, put waterhose in hole, turn water on.

They are also fun to boot like a field goal.

Salmon flavor cat food is irresistable to Mr. Possum. Try to ignore his giant rat like face hissing at you.

I like to get an aerosol can along with a butane torch and go flame thrower on their asses.

I'm debating on attempting to drown it out with a water hose. I don't think this is a good idea at all, but I can watch it all go down from the safety of my car..... I thought about getting a trap from the Parish and attempting to trap the thing and then calling a wildlife control service to come pick it up for relocation/disposal.

Call Tuthilltiger over. He'll fire off a few rounds in his direction. It's gonna have to be after dark though.

All I can tell you is if you decide to thump it with a bow shot you had best head shoot that sucker or you can kiss your arrow goodbye.
I've lost 3 or 4 carbons to them bastards.
Nothing like zipping an armadillo and watching it take off with your $10 ACC/Axis "flagging" through the woods.

There would have to be brush in the area though.

He will trim the boxwood if nothing else.

There may be some wolves with him though, they tend to track him.

Thanks Josey. They are fierce terrible creatures.
These Urban non attacking creatures I know how to deal with. Put a water hose in the hole and flood them out, hit them in head with a shovel or hoe when they come flying out. Caveat: It takes a lot longer to fill up one of these holes that you usually think.
