I need help to identify a pepper plant

i have no clue what they are. They been in the family for over 20 years. And they are hot. I also grow ghost peppers and the Trinidad scorpion

Not sure! Only thing I heard from older generation of the family was that's it's a Thai Birdseye. But they are not sure. My family makes a homemade spice and this is 1 of the main ingredients. But no one really knows the pepper. This same strain been in the family for over 20 years

Might want to try getting in contact with the guy over at Naylors in Baton Rouge if you can't get an answer in thread. They sell a large verity of peppers.

What color do they turn? Red? It looks kinda like a mole pepper.

I will try that. My great grandpa is the 1 who started it. He said it was given to him by a Asian man in port sulphur. He kept growing the peppers over and over. When they turn red holy shite there hot.

Looks like a Thai bird pepper like you said. They are small, hang down, and turn deep red.

Thai bird or Chilian Rape pepper...both very similar
