No, i limited out 2 mornings in a row this weekend in a place we scouted out the day before. Good hunters dont need to bait to kill ducks

not sure how well the scouting will go, kind of limited in a kayak speed wise.

Let me bring you to the WMA I hunt. I will bet my left nut you can't kill limits. The best hunter in the world can't kill ducks when there aren't any in the area.

theres a paddle only portion of sabine. lot of walk in hunters I believe too. never hunted public land. Gonna just pedal around and see if I can find some birds then make a couple of hunts hopefully. i'm really out of my element in the marsh though.

I would hate to know I had to hunt the marsh every weekend. While I enjoy my annual Coastal Club trip, it's much more of a pain in the arse than hunting woods or backwater. It seems like its more hit or miss than what I'm used to.

Hunting may be better elsewhere, but no place can compare to a marsh sunrise.

The marsh can be great, it's just not for me. I've got a lot of buddies who have marsh leases and drive down there every weekend

I never recall saying that I bait, because I didn't say it and I don't bait. In a previous post, I said that feeding does work, and that is the truth. All I said was that sometimes it doesn't matter how good of a hunter you are, like when there are no ducks. You are the one that that told shooter35 that if you are a good hunter, you don't have to bait and I said that you were wrong, because you are wrong in saying that. Sometimes not even bait is good enough. So get your shite straight.

Twelve hunts first split, twelve limits. Six of which were in the marsh. Shot a few mallards in GC first split, plus a few widgeon here and there
