Question...could the guy that owns the rope catch a stick horse? Doubtful.

I would buy this Yeti
I'd shite in it. The way it holds ice, I'd imagine it hold a steaming pile of shite for atleast a few days.

I think we can all agree that this is the cooler that we should be shitting in.

You're going to come on here and tout the exceptional craftsmanship of something you bought at the Wally, Wally, Wally, Wally World? Was it purchased with the EBT card? Guys just look at the wall thickness of the chests. 2" of foam has a higher R value than 1" of foam. Check out the lids. And the weight is from a dense foam. If you get away for any length of time, borrow one if you don't have one. "Cool" food after a few days will mean TP shortage for your crew.

I'm sure there are folks that can justify the expense, guides, off shore folks, etc. But there is no way I can justify it for how I use an ice chest.

I want an Engel ice chest, for no reason other than it would be personalized.

I'm pissed for reading 7 pages of moaning and bitching about an ice chest.

I have a yeti, I didn't like it. I have gone through two Colemans since I got the Yeti.. The Yeti still like new except for some scratches and shite.
I am liking it more, may get a bigger one later, but they really are too heavy.

I have tested the Coleman Extreme, it will keep ice in 90 degree temps for 5-6 days. It is not bear proof, ( I don't have to worry bout bears). For $60...(I paid cash) at Wal Marks and as far as I am concerned you can take you Yeti and your Yeti and DU stickers and...well you know. If you wanna spend the money to say you have a Yeti, then go for it.

I've been using a Coleman roller marine grade whatever the hell it is for the last four years because it's a perfect fit as the step down into my cabin on the sailboat. I use it twice a week. It's still doing it's thing.
Anybody who seriously thinks they would get more value from a yeti than I've gotten from that thing are completely deluded. I've stayed out for five nights at a time.
If you want to believe that extra four hundred or however many dollars is worth it, you don't need me to convince you. You were sold before you spent it and you'll likely never find any reason to doubt it. Ice isn't 'rocket appliances'. Wanna keep ice long term, precool, add dry ice, don't open it often. Practice that and the differences in coolers are negligible. The rest is sales hype.
