this one is better, and you can get some hardly used with about 100 hours for 5,500

eta- well, after looking online.. the new ones with 62 inch deck and 27hp run start at 5,500

nothing runs like a deere

Essentially the same. The layout was a bit different. But that deck is welded metal and it's thick as hell.

TOPS didn't cover the dorm, meal plan or books. I gotta pay for that.

Look Va, I'm a HUGE John Deere fan. I have had the same JD since 1987. It's beast. But that Kubota is better. I truly believe that.

There are few things in this world that make me jealous. One is a center console boat and the other is a zero turn mower. Oh well, one day.

I've had a Kubota ZG23 for about seven years. Awesome machine. Never had a lick of trouble with it and I mow a minimum of 4 acres every weekend from April thru October. My Kubota tractor and loader are the tits as well.
Much as I respect John Deere, I think Kubota is superior to them.

I'll clarify...on mowers and tractors under 50HP, Kubota is superior to JD

Make that 20 and you MIGHT be onto something

I used to cut 10 acres on a JD diesel zero turn with hydraulic deck lift. That was the most comfortable I've ever been cutting grass outside of cab and air tractors.

Not that ya really need it on the smaller decks, but all the (commercial) Kubotas have the hydraulic deck lift.

I wouldn't like it on a smaller deck. Sometimes with rough yards I used to set the cut height low and float the deck the whole time with my foot which is hard (if not impossible) with a hydraulic deck.

I'm just being an arse. I've never ran a kubota lawn mower.

The JD diesel was very smooth considering how fast I used to run it.

I run all ZTR's as fast I can while still holding on if I'm not drinking, except for when I did that lil bout of "professional" grass cutting.
