Probably seems nothing special to those who drive it everyday but it's a really beautiful stretch of road. Lake, swamp, marsh, sunset, and saw 4 bald eagles recently.

Never hurts to reflect on the wonders of God's creation.

I saw seven eagles between belle Chasse and Port Sulphur Saturday. I don’t know why it is such a big deal to me but I am amazed every time I see one

It was such a rare sight when I was younger that they always catch my eye. They are majestic in flight, in my opinion, I never get tired of seeing them.

Same is true for alligators in the wild for me, even though they are much more prevalent now.

That whole area is beautiful. We frequently fish along the bridge spans and down the canals from Reserve Canal, to the lake, to Blind River. Extremely tranquil to be on the water, seeing colorful swamp flowers, frogs, alligators, eagles, and more. The cypress trees, Spanish moss, etc. Actually going tomorrow.

It really is a beautiful area. I saw 5 bald eagles there myself on Saturday going to and from Hammmond. You can see a couple of nests on that stretch of road closer to the Kenner area.

Those camps back there must really enjoy watching the sunset sipping whiskey and seeing that daily
