Need some hunting boots. I just orderd some Lacrosse 4xBurly but I literally could not get them off my feet. Any suggestions on what type of hunting boots I should try? TIA

I like Muck wetland and woody sport. Woody max is a little to hot for me but my dad wears them and likes em.

LaCrosse and big calves really don't mix well... I had a lot of trouble getting them off until one day I literally cut them off of my feet with a knife.

I ended up with some BOGS boots a few years ago and I really liked them. They were extremely warm (almost too warm for early season) but very comfortable.

They eventually wore out after 5-6 seasons and last year I went back with a lace up Irish Setter designed more for moving around.

Unless you are always wading in water get some Danner lace up pronghorns. I've had some Un insulated for ten years and just change socks, really good socks. They allow you to still hunt deer and then hunt pheasants or quail or Hunt doves in hot weather. Great boots.

I ended up buying Irish Setter snake boots. So far very pleased and very comfortable.
