I dont want to live in a world without marlbro and community coffee. I would be one unplesant sob to be around. I havent read Alas Babylon but I have read The Last Centurion by John Ringo. Thats a more plausable scenario short of an EMP infrastructure will remain largely intact, but as stupid as people are I could see a new strain of the flu killing off about a third of the population and the other 2/3 killing another 1/3. Most people cant hunt, cant fish, and are too lazy to farm.

Don't smoke. Got coffee stored. And have and still and know how to brew beer. In fact, my GT project in 7th grade was a miniature working moonshine still. Almost got suspended by the dickhead principle,but got an A.

I also have a protocal in place to clean out my clinic of surgical and medical supplies. The pharmacy also sells household/otc items so I have a rotating stockpile of food/drinks/"wal-mart stuff".

We already have several MDs but also a lot of current and former military. Many hot women. Guns, ammo, wildlife supplies, etc.

I tend to store knowledge. I want to make a still but the last thing I need is the ATF kicking in my door. If you have the right materials, as you Illistrated with your science project, Its not that hard. Plus. I love that damn moonshiners show. Jim Tom is a riot.
