I've been asked by a few people to post the pics of my actual build of my Outdoor Kitchen space to help those you are planning to do the same for themselves. So, over the next few days, I'll post what I can over the build.

I'll reserve subsequent posts to ensure the build process stays in order.

I began the project with a conceptual design based on what my wife and I saw of a friend's outdoor space.

Here's my backyard before the build began. The markings are the dimensions of approximately the size of the added foundation.

I ordered a metal studs online and began building the frame in my garage.

While I was building the frame I had concrete guys start prepping the site to receive the concrete.

Once they were done, plumbing and gas line were marked run and a metal beam was placed underneath grade where the kitchen would sit to help support the weight of the kitchen. The hole you see in the ground is where the beam was placed.

Prep work continued with the foundation

Concrete work and stamping

While that was ongoing I continued building the frame in my garage. Once the concrete was cured, I began moving the frame segments outside and finished building out the backsplash and the bar overhang.

Framing completed.

Prepping cement board to receive stone.

Beginning the stone work. I thought I would never get done with this. This was by far the longest part of the entire process during the build.

WTF is the "no reserve" crap about? Am I completely ignorant to something here or is the OP on crack?

I'm not following you. Maybe you aren't aware that there's a character limit with posts on here. And in my original post I said

I'll reserve subsequent threads to ensure the build process stays in order.

Well then I’m reserving this post to be able to come back later with an edit in case I change my mind about what I want to say about your reserving posts idea even though you call them threads and confused the shite out of everyone in this thread.

You don’t make reservations for future posts on TD. I can only imagine how this idea would go over on the OT!

They do it all the time for the baseball preview or recruiting threads. Its just a space holder so you dont have to search through 5 pages just to see like 4 pictures.
