How to figure out a fair price for our Yahama 150 4 stroke outboard?

It's a 2008, and we are looking to repower our Southbay Tritoon to a Yamaha 250SHO or Suzuki 250SS. But not sure what this motor should be worth on trade in or out right selling it.
Is there a website like KBB for boats/motors?

I just bought a 115 yammy 4 stroke for 3500$ motor was in excellent condition. I would say 150 4-4500$ 5 at most depending what condition it’s in.

You'll get your best price for it (if you were good to it) by letting a Yamaha shop hook it up to a computer and give you a print out as to how it was run...
this will tell you how many hours at each different rpm(specifically) it was run over the life of the motor

And maintenance records. That combo will get you top dollar.

I would be interested in buying it from you. Looking to repower my 24’ sylvan pontoon and this is exactly what I was looking for.
Just let me know.

That might solve everything. I'll be in touch.
