Sounds about right. I'll read about you in the paper one day.

The auto door lock is very annoying in a hunting / outdoor situation.

Too many. I like the one vehicle rollover-ejection deaths more.

I've done a pretty good job of that for six point seven decades.

I just reversed the chime on my one fiddy. I wear my seatbelt but I don't like the chime when I'm just trying to launch the boat 100yds down the road.

You don't need to wear a seatbelt ever. Your choice.

Exactly! My question was how do I disable the fricking chime, not should I wear seat belts or not.

why not just roll the window(s) down, turn the key to acc. and close the door if it's the door chime?

ALL I ASKED was how to defeat the fricking chimes on the seat belts and door locks.

"Mung" the fricking Bean Ridge, suggested I should just wear my fricking seat belt. I didn't ask should I wear seat belts. I know the answer to that question but I didn't ask that question.

disconnecting the battery would yield the results you want.

That would be my option to choose! I didn't ask you if I should or should not wear the seatbelt. I asked how to disable the alarm.

Why would I want to sit in the camp ground with the seatbelt on, just to silence the alarm?

you do realize, your own stupidity caused this, right?? You're either lying or you went through considerable effort to buy an old seat belt clip to silence your door chime.

Doesn't appear they are interested selling just the clip here at our local junk yard. I asked them if they would just cut the clip off, and they would have none of that.

So put the belt in behind you. The chime needs to be there to remind knuckleheads to wear their seatbelts. 16 y/o kid in my daughter's HS class got killed when thrown from a vehicle in a wreck. I'm guessing somebody had turned off the seatbelt chime in the truck he was driving.

So I assume none of you ride in the backs of trucks at camp or to a dove field? Or on older tractors? Or on trailers? We have established that a vehicle going more than 0mph is deadly without being buckled in.

I don't want to sit on a buckled seatbelt because it interferes with all my tactical gear.
