Anyone have an idea on a fair valuation of a BPS 10 gauge?

I got a bottom of the barrel savage axis 30-06.
I upgraded the trigger.
Its Great, but I want something to get better at shooting longer distances.
I vet taken 4 deer with it the past 3 years.
Something I can take on one of those Colorado Elk Hunts and be able to shoot 200 yards out.
So Im looking to upgrade to either another Savage or Ruger.
I have no clue where to sell it.

Bass Pro is buying used guns now.

They do, and of course you won’t get top dollar, but it’s convenient. I sold a Taurus snubnose to basspro. I think they gave me $100 or $150. It’s a $300 new gun but not highly prized and I figured some money is better than it sitting in my safe doing nothing.

I have a new Marlin 1894 lever in 44 magnum. Love the way it looks and it shoots flawlessly but I want it in 357. It’s got exactly 50 rounds through it. Bought it from basspro in April for about $1300. One week later I tried to sell it back, trade it for a 357 model, really, and they only wanted to give me $800 for it. That was too much of a haircut for me to stomach.
So I still have the rifle and would still like to sell it. I’m in Houston area and haven’t tried any other outlets bc I figured they’ll all be the same lowball. I’m only wanting about $1,000. I’m not trying to make a profit.

What would 357 do that the 44 Mag cannot?

Softer shooting and cheaper ammo. I have a ton of 38 and 357 already. 38 is cheap

I will never understand this mindset. If I buy a POS gun that doesn’t do what I want it to do I’m not just gonna stick it in a closet and say well I guess those mf got me on this one.
Same here. I’ve only traded a few here and there but I see no reason to hold on to something that I either don’t like or like something else better that better serves my needs.
I bought a Ruger P95 back in the day. Heavy and clunky. Definitely reliable but not the best to carry. Ended up with an XD40 that is great. Eventually I bought an LCP and ended up trading that in for a different gun, I think a 9mm single stack XD. I’ve got revolvers, couple of .22s, semi autos, and shotguns. If I paid $300 for something and used it a few years then decide I want something else and the gun shop offers me $200 on a trade I’m taking that all day.

You’ve already got the gun for that. Are you looking for less recoil?

I've got a Ruger lcp2 that won't feed hollow points worth a shite. Tried 6 didn't brands/designs...critical defense being the best because it got a tighter angle. But even that I would trust my life to.
Well, this is certainly not the way!

It really is baffling. I enjoy tinkering with guns to avoid the hassle of getting rid of them but two things I won’t tolerate are carry pistols that won’t cycle and a dove shotgun that won’t eject low brass.
