How bad do you think the Gnats are going to be tomorrow in the marsh? I have been wanting to go catch some bass but gnats absolutely kill me.

They've been got damn turrible around here this week. That said, I wouldn't let them stop me from fishing. Cover up and spray down.

Back in the day the big thing for gnats was Avon Skin So Soft. You smelled like a girl, but those gnats stayed away for the most part.

Went out one day and forgot it at home and really regretted it once the gnats came out. They drive people crazy, and me even crazier than I already am.

they are always bad, only a steady breeze makes it ok

its the few times a year you absolutely dont want calm waters and no winds.

5-10 mph winds you should find fishing comfortable

0-5 mph winds you will find fishing very uncomfortable to the point of staying out of the marsh and keeping to the lakes and open water or you will just want to quit and go home to escape the gnats
