Anybody have any info/opinions on houseboat vacations in either Ar or Mo. Pros, cons, recommendations, warnings, etc.
Looking a family gathering on big houseboat.

Thanks

We did Wakezone houseboat rentals in the Lake Ouachita area. Nice boats. Good support once on the water. Would recommend.

Arkansas unless you do crystal meth.... in which case Missouri is a much better option.

this. I don't remember the company we rented from but the lake itself was fricking awesome. We got two big boats for a bachelor party and brought a few of our own boats and jetskis and had a damn good time.

We did bull shoals twice when I was a kid and will be going back next year. Definitely get the biggest one they have. The first time we got a smaller house boat and for 5 people it can get cramped if you have any kind of weather come up. Also definitely bring a boat. I’d wake up and go run jug lines and fish every morning and we would ski at night. Also made it easier getting groceries and clothes on the houseboat instead of dragging all that stuff through the marina.
