I’ve never liked Hornady, but I’m on a strong “frick Hornady ammo” trip.

A 139 grain sst at 7 mag velocity will probably explode when it encounters fur.

I reload my 7 mag with sst (154 gr) and love it. But i use sst for my 243 and 308 too. Does quite a bit of damage.

I load 150gr SSTs in 308 and have been happy with the performance. White fail and hogs don’t stand a chance.

Using SST 150gr in my 30-06, 742 Woodsmaster carbine. Can get 2" groups all day and that's a dead deer where I hunt. Want to try Nosler during the split and see what happens

What distance shots are you typically taking? That just seems like such a light bullet for such a big cartridge.
I assume you're hunting long pipelines or something.
