May your line be forever coated with Gafftop slime and may hardheads and stingrays rain upon you your entire trip !

Thanks for all the bad luck wishes frickers!

Had an awesome time but fishing wasnt that great, didnt raise any bills, but caught some big cuberra and reef snapper and a couple rooster fish. Without a doubt the prettiest scenery I've ever fished on. Made up for lack of fishing with partying so was still a great trip. Almost worth the trip seeing the panama canal. Nighttime entertainment was legit LINK

Looks nice but slow fishing is what you get for bragging.

I fished this area about 15 yrs ago. I was on the old Coiba Explorer.. not sure if that rig is still there. It was a floating motel anchored off the Coiba prison island. Fished the hannibal bank area for 7 days. It was incredible.

PS at the time, the mail lodge that was on land was called the Tropic Star I believe. Wonder if thats the same place you're at.

We fished with Paradise Fishing Lodge out of Chiriqui bay, and fished hannibel bank. January was supposed to be best time for bills, so think we just hit a rough spot. had alot of problems with porpises coming into our baits which is supposedly becoming a problem in that area.
