My camp is right by honey island, so yeah I can go there. Or I can go yaking.
Not an experienced yaker but I did yak pretty hard after coming home from the bar last night.
But I'll see if I can swing out there saturday. Sounds like fun.
Shoot me an email.

I probably should just get my saltwater when I'm thinking about it. Nothing worse than being invited and not having it. You thinking 2:00? You don't work or something?

Yeah. 2:00.
I'm off tomorrow. Offline technicians are off on good Friday (because we're already off for the weekend anyway) and online techs are off Sunday for easter.

Thanks bro, days suck.
Have friends that quit going because they had to wait too long, supposedly.

I went Sunday before last at 3pm and 7 of the 12 rifle lanes were open and more than half of the pistol lanes were open. And that was the first weekend they were opened after being closed for a month due to the high water in the Pearl.
I fully expected to walk in and it be packed but I was shocked.

remember that LA has a weird mid season end date, so if you bought on last year, it's still good through June and anything you buy now would expire in June

I went last Saturday and they didn't check for a hunting or fishing license although I believe it's posted that you need one...
Range guys are pretty cool too, and it wasn't too crowded either.

The license isn't needed to actually shoot or be at the range. It's needed to be on the Wildlife Management Area property. No one working the range will ask you for a license.
If a park ranger stops you on property though, and you don't have a hunting or fishing license, you will be ticketed.

You shooting a pistol tomorrow? What do you shoot at there?
Posted on 3/28/13 at 8:01 pm to Gaston
I'll have a rifle and a pistol. there's steel targets at the pistol range and target boards that you can staple paper targets to.
there's target boards at the rifle range you can staple paper targets to and place at 25, 50, 75 and 100 yard marks. There's also a metal steel gong target at 100 yards. You can also bring clay targets and set them up along the back stop if you want.
All you need to bring is your own paper or stick on targets. they have everything else you need. or you can buy targets from them for $1.00/two targets.

pistol range is 25 yards and they'll allow you to shoot a 22 rifle there if you want. I prefer the rifle range for shooting my 22 rifle though.

Any variety in. 45s going? I'll bring my PPK & CZ Duty, but I need to shoot a few 45s if possible.

I'm gonna bring my TRP Operator and Kimber Warrior.

And I'll have my Delta Elite 10mm
