If you are going to breed her, Wait until 2 and have her eyes, hips and elbows certified...should probably have her genetically tested as well.

Not going to breed her. I'm just to dam old as it is and having to deal with other dogs. 
Her mom and pop were checked and my daughter had checked her out too. But yes, testing would need to be done. Can't stand backyard breeders.

If anyone’s interested my male is papered and cleared on everything. He was recessive on one thing, don’t remember what, would merely need to make sure female didn’t also have recessive.
As mentioned I didn’t go through hunt tests but that dog will hunt.

After reading these posts I have decided my Boykin is a fat arse. He weighs 48 lbs.

48lbs? He is a big sucker. The dad of my pup is around 40lbs.
It's funny as hell watching my pup sticking her head under water to get a stick. She blows bubbles with her nose as she does that.
Pep, still hanging in there. They just treat me as needed. I had enough. That is the plan now as I told them. There is no fixing my problem. I'm fine with that.
