The largest buck I’ve ever had on camera in Louisiana came out to a feeder twice in the daylight a few years ago. My son was playing HS football at the time so I wasn’t hunting the Friday afternoon he came out.
My son was in the locker room before the game and saw the pics on his phone and made him sick. Lol.
I have the pics on my computer at work and will post in the morning.

2nd biggest one I’ve killed post rut in the afternoon. Well before dark. Crazy part was my buddy hunting down the road from me pulled the trigger at the same exact time

I would equate it to rattling. Which definitely works but often tends to bring in more younger bucks. That said I gafe brought in some beast.
Also, in my good club the bow hunters said this too, so I send them my best 6 bucks and they respond well obviously some do. (lol)
More likely to come to corn feeder with lots of cover etc in the woods to an open food plot in my opinion.

Deer will eat in the bright arse daylight at a freaking sonic if there is no pressure on them. The biggest oldest “smartest” buck will do it
If you have enough land that isn’t pressured with hunters your oldest bucks will constantly eat at a feeder

Unrelated, but I’ve been seeing a ton of nice bucks on my camera eating corn, well I tried to get cute and switched to some flavored apple corn and they immediately stopped showing up. Haven’t seen one in 2 days after almost a week and a half straight

We get daylight pics of bucks at one feeder more than the others, its in the woods not on a food plot.
RiceBran or something like MoBucks seems to work better at getting them in front of the camera, but day time pictures are more rare

Last year I was 25 ft up above the canopy, about 20 minutes before dark two does came up eating corn.
I was in my bow stand so it was only about 20 yards.
I kept hearing something up the ridge and after dark one came walking in, sounded like a bull stomping down the hill and the does ran off.
No doubt what it was and he knew to wait until after good dark to come in, I tried but could never see him in my scope.
