Hardest kicking = H&R 45-70 Handy Rifle synthetic stock.

I freakin' hate not hearing after shooting.

I never shoot without ear plugs, except for in the stand and i'm in the zone when hunting so I don't notice the noise anyways.

really is amazing how your ears don't ring near as much when shooting an animal.

Loudest by a mile was a Ruger 454 Casull Revolver with a 2.5" barrel. RIDICULOUS.

Hardest kicking was a 375 Ruger. fricking elephant gun.

I had my buffalo classic 45-70 cut my fricking shoulder the first time i shot it, at that point the biggest the gun that I had ever shot was a 300 win mag and it has nothing on the 45-70.

Really is.....I killed one last weekend and have no recollection of the noise or the kick. Very focused on meat in the freezer I guess.

325 grains may have something to do with it. I love my 45-70.

I do as well, I bought mine 3 years ago and picked up my 270 and it has been the only thing that I have used.

Weatherby .338 magnum= hardest kicking

I shot this gun once as per request of my business partner who owned it. Nearly blew my arse outta the stand. The 9 point victim dropped like a box of rocks. Way too much gun for me.
